Pup Joints SIMA case is about to expire

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) has provided notice that the Pup Joints (PJ) SIMA case found in the Measures in Force is about to expire on April 6th, 2022. The resulting decision regarding the expiry will affect the amount of duties pup joint importers pay.

If the CITT decides that an expiry review of the case is warranted, it will issue a notice that it will be performing an expiry review.

If the CITT decides that an expiry review is not warranted, the finding will expire on its schedule expiry date and SIMA duties will no longer apply.

Complete details regarding the Notice of Expiry can be  found here.
