Livingston welcomes two new members to its leadership team

Toronto, ON, April 3, 2017 – Livingston International Inc. announced today the addition of two new members to its executive leadership team.

Tom Cronin joined Livingston in the role of Chief Financial Officer effective March 27, 2017, replacing Sharon Sritong, who has chosen to pursue other opportunities. He will continue to focus on priorities designed to optimize the company’s financial performance and support its growth strategy.

“I am excited to welcome Tom to the role. His experience and abilities make him the ideal candidate to continue to contribute to Livingston’s ongoing financial strength and stability,” said Dan McHugh, Chief Executive Office, Livingston International Inc. “Tom will play an integral role in developing and executing our business strategy, allowing us not only to identify potential risks and opportunities, but to guide us financially as we continue to pursue our growth potential,” said Mr. McHugh.

Mr. Cronin is an accomplished CFO and business executive, who possesses more than 25 years of leadership experience in North American and global companies, including LifeLabs Medical Laboratories, Symcor Inc. and SHL Systemhouse. Throughout his career he has been an effective leader in driving organic and acquired growth, organizational effectiveness and in developing high performance teams.

“Livingston is a strong company with a long history of growth and accomplishment,” said Mr. Cronin. “I look forward to working with the company’s leadership team to continue in that tradition of managing future growth and contributing to its overall success.”

New Global Trade Management Leader

David Rish will also be joining Livingston as the new president of Global Trade Management, which offers clients a wide range of solutions related to supply chain, trade and regulatory compliance, transport and other areas of international trade.

Mr. Rish brings an invaluable mix of experience covering brokerage, global logistics, supply chains, compliance, consulting, and technology all of which will be critical to the growth and development of Global Trade Management. Equally critical is Mr. Rish’s proven track record of setting strategies and making improvements that grow the business.

“Global Trade Management continues to be a vital part of our organization and our value offering to clients, many of whom are finding it increasingly difficult to streamline their supply chains and navigate the complexities of global trade,” said Mr. McHugh. “David has the ideal mix of skills and experience to build on the success of the Global Trade Management team and we are excited to have him on board.”

Mr. Rish joins Livingston from Toll Global Forwarding, where he was Senior Vice President, Customs and Trade Advisory Services, responsible for the vision, strategy, execution, design and development of the customs services product.  He worked with the executive team to manage the entire Americas operations and served as the Head of Regulatory Compliance and Head of Commercial Strategy.

Before joining Toll, Mr. Rish was Senior Vice President, Country Head of Customs Services with Panalpina from 2011 to 2015.  In addition to managing the U.S. country operations, he also served as Panalpina’s global strategist. Working with the geographic heads, he focused the sales teams, designed new metrics that drove improvements in service, and grew the business year over year.

“There’s a great deal of change taking place in the world of global trade today and Livingston’s Global Trade Management group is in an optimal position to support businesses in their efforts to take advantage of international opportunities while helping them mitigate risk,” said Mr. Rish. “I look forward to leading the charge.”

Mr. Rish begins his role effective immediately.
