The Veterinary Service (VS) of the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) has announced that the VS Form 17-129 Live Animals permit application will transition from APHIS ePermits to APHIS eFile on September 17, 2021. Users will need to create an APHIS eFile account in order to submit their VS 17-129 application.
The VS Permitting Assistant (VSPA) in APHIS eFile provides admissibility requirements for the import, transit, and interstate movement of regulated commodities.
APHIS eFile will soon replace APHIS ePermits, and all permits will only be processed through APHIS eFile.
