CITT Issues a continuation of Orders and Finding on Hot Rolled Carbon and High-strength Low-Alloy Steel Plate

On December 27, 2018, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) issued an order advising that it  has conducted an interim review of the orders and finding on hot-rolled carbon steel plate and high-strength low-alloy steel plate originating in or exported from Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Romania, Ukraine, Brazil, Denmark, Indonesia, Italy, Japan and Korea.

Subsequently the CITT issued notice that it is continuing without amendment, its orders and finding.

The goods in question are described in the Measures in Force under Steel Plate 5, 6 and 7 and involve the following interim reviews:

  • Steel Plate 5, January 7, 2014, Expiry Review No. RR-2013-002
  • Steel Plate 6, January 30, 2015, Expiry Review No. RR-2014-002, and
  • Steel Plate 7, CITT finding made on May 20, 2014, NQ-2013-005

The steel plate is usually classified under HS numbers 7208.51.00.10, 7208.51.00.91, 7208.51.00.92, 7208.51.00.93, 7208.51.00.94, 7208.51.00.95, 7208.52.00.10, 7208.52.00.91, 7208.52.00.92, 7208.52.00.93, 7208.52.00.96.
