CBSA re-investigates normal values and export prices of certain corrosion-resistant steel sheet

Re-investigations are administrative proceedings conducted by the CBSA to update values; establish values for new products or models subjectto a SIMA measure; and establish values for exporters that do not currently have normal values issued.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), on October 31, 2022, initiated a re-investigation to update the normal values and export prices of certain goods falling under the Corrosion-Resistant Steel Sheet SIMA case currently in force.

Exporters who provide a complete, accurate and timely responses to the CBSA’s request for information (RFI), will be considered cooperative and be provided with normal values. In such case, anti-dumping duties would not apply to imports of subject goods from these exporters, sold to Canada at or above the normal values issued by CBSA.
