CBSA concludes an aluminum extrusion exporter dumping goods into Canadian market

If you import aluminum extrusion products from Chinese firm Fujian Fenan, the CBSA has ruled you’ll be paying anti-dumping and countervailing duties on those goods. This will increase the cost of doing business for those companies.

On September 28th, 2021, the CBSA concluded a normal value review of Fujian Fenan. Fujian Fenan’s products are subject to the Aluminum Extrusions (AE) SIMA case.

As a result of this review, the CBSA has decided Fujian Fenan is dumping its goods in the Canadian market. It will continue to apply anti-dumping and countervailing duties to imports of subject goods from Fujian Fenan.

Details regarding the review are available here.
