The Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA), administered by the Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS), is seeking feedback on ways they can better serve the fruit and vegetable industry. PACA promotes fair trade within the industry by enforcing a code of fair business practices and assists sellers and buyers of fresh and frozen fruits and vegetables in resolving business disputes.
The PACA Division of AMS seeks industry feedback on the following:
- In what ways can PACA adapt to better meet the needs of the produce industry?
- What current PACA services are most valued by the industry?
- In the next decade, what industry trends do you believe PACA needs to be aware of and prepare for?
- Please provide any additional thoughts or concerns regarding the PACA
