CITT commences injury inquiry on large diameter carbon and alloy steel line pipe from China & Japan

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) initiated an injury inquiry on March 29, 2016 to determine if the dumping and subsidizing of large diameter carbon and alloy steel line pipe originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China and Japan has caused injury or retardation or is threatening to cause injury to Canadian manufacturers.

Parties wishing to participate in the injury inquiry must file a notice of participation with the Tribunal on or before April 11, 2016.

Submissions by parties opposed to the complaint must be filed no later than noon, on April 22, 2016.
