Team Lead, TDM

Reporting to the Manager, Trade Data Management this position is responsible for the analysis and processing of trade documentation and information received from clients, or suppliers, for review and solicitation processes, and acts as the Team Leader for day to day business activities


Key duties and responsibilities include

  1. Analyze information received from clients regarding trade documentation to verify if they are accurate and acceptable for use in the brokerage systems for duty application
  2. Communicating client requests to the client representatives and team members through the use of e-mail, fax and telephone
  3. Communicate directly with the clients, and client suppliers, to gather required information, address client requests, update client on progress of project        
  4. Analyze and audit the integrity of data receive from suppliers for discrepancies and errors to identify risk exposure and liability
  5. Ensure that client projects are managed and processed efficiently and within the SOW timelines
  6. Act as primary escalation point for team
  7. Correcting errors and resolving problems which may occur
  8. Work directly with TDM’s third party service provider (TCS).  Provide instructions on work assignments, handle escalations, provide coaching/training as required
  9. Implementing new work processes and procedures to enhance overall work quality of the team
  10. Support Consulting and Brokerage sales force by sharing information to qualify opportunities
  11. Assist Manager in ensuring that projects are billed accurately and complete assigned work in a timely manner in order to meet monthly budget goals
  12. Attend and participate in meetings with internal and external clients and TCS when required
  13. Extract GQL data, as assigned by Manager, and provide analysis on prioritization of work requests
  14. Provide ongoing support and information of the TDM process and requirements to our business partners so they develop a deeper understanding
  15. Generate clients and management reports as required using advanced MS Excel and MS Access applications
  16. Provide technical expertise in Trade Documents to team members, clients and client suppliers
  17. Handle large/complex projects where the scope of the work falls outside of standard business approach or practice
  18. Review and analyze changes in regulation/trade documentation and identify impact to client and project
  19. Manage / balance workload within the team, and assign tasks to team members as required
  20. Coach / train team members on processes, system requirements, trade documentation
  21. Provide support and coverage for Manager as required/during absences
