As a licensed customs broker with over 17 years of experience in Customs issues, David has offered his expertise in the areas of import and export compliance, international tariff, and trade consulting and he has managed services to both the public and private sectors.
Prior to joining Livingston, David was an executive account manager for a large, U.S.-based, automotive OEM. He was responsible for a multi-national team delivering managed services in the areas of tariff classification, valuation analysis and reconciliation, trade preference programs, and duty deferral programs. He has also overseen the implementation of quality assurance and compliance procedures affecting client services and was responsible for implementation and maintenance of the firm’s ISO 9001:2008 certification.
David has delivered public and in-house systems training and seminars throughout the U.S. about Automated Commercial Environment (ACE), detailing reporting functions, data extraction, and query techniques.
