On February 6, 2026, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) issued a final injury finding concerning the dumping and subsidizing of certain cast iron soil pipes originating in or exported from China. This decision follows the Canada Border Services Agency’s (CBSA) Final Determination released on January 7, 2026.
As a result, final anti-dumping and countervailing duties are payable on imports of subject goods released by CBSA on or after February 6, 2026.
Importers using customs brokers are reminded to inform their broker if their goods fall under these measures, and to provide all necessary information to ensure accurate assessment under SIMA, where applicable.
