CITT expiry notice pertaining to dumping and subsidizing of Pup Joints from China

On June 13, 2016 The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) gave notice that its order  pertaining to dumping and subsidizing of oil country tubular goods pup joints made of carbon or alloy steel is scheduled to expire on April 9, 2017.

The subject goods are described as oil country tubular goods pup joints, made of carbon or alloy steel, welded or seamless, heat-treated or not heat treated, regardless of end finish, having an outside diameter from 2 3/8 inches to 4 1/2 inches (60.3 mm to 114.3 mm), in all grades, in lengths from 2 feet to 12 feet (61 cm to 366 cm), excluding casing pup joints, originating in or exported from the People’s Republic of China.

Any firm, organization, person or government wishing to participate as a party in these proceedings must file a notice of participation with the Tribunal on or before June 29, 2016. Each counsel who intends to represent a party in these proceedings must also file a notice of representation, as well as a declaration and undertaking, with the Tribunal on or before June 29, 2016.
