USTR Accepting New Section 301 China Exclusions Requests for Medical Related Products

March 26, 2020 – The U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) announced they are accepting new Section 301 exclusion requests for Chinese origin medical related products, which may be used to combat the COVID-19 virus.

Comments are also being accepted on the new exclusion requests, where you may explain how the product relates to the response to the COVID-19 outbreak, such as  whether a product is directly used to treat COVID-19 or limit the outbreak, or if the product is used in the production of needed medical-care products.

Requests and comments may be filed through June 25, 2020, at Regulations.gov, using docket number USTR–2020–0014.
