Provisional duties are now payable on certain wind towers and their sections, originating in or exported from China. This, after the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) made a preliminary determination of dumping and subsidizing on July 20, 2023.

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) will now perform an inquiry to determine whether the dumping and subsidizing of the above-mentioned goods has caused injury or retardation or is threatening to cause injury to domestic producers.
