SIMA Duties continue on oil country tubular goods (OCTG) from China

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT), on December 10, 2020, issued its order regarding the expiry review on certain oil country tubular goods originating in or exported from China.

The CITT has determined that the dumping of the above-mentioned goods would continue to cause injury to the Canadian domestic industry, as such the order will continue without amendment.

This follows the CBSA Expiry Review Determinations made on March 26, 2020.

For the complete authoritative product description of the goods and their HS classifications refer to the OCTG 1 case in the Measures in Force.

Additional information is contained in CITT Order available on the CITT website.

A Statement of Reasons will be available within 15 days on the CITT’s website.
