SIMA duties continue on certain hot-rolled carbon steel plate and high‑strength low‑alloy steel plate from Ukraine

The Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT), on November 10, 2020, issued its order regarding the expiry review on certain hot-rolled carbon steel plate and high‑strength low‑alloy steel plate originating in or exported from Ukraine.

The CITT has determined that the dumping of the above-mentioned goods would continue to cause injury to the Canadian domestic industry, as such the order will continue without amendment.

This follows the CBSA Expiry Review Determinations made on June 4, 2020.

For the complete authoritative product description of the goods and their HS classifications refer to the Steel Plate 6 case in the Measures in Force.

Additional information is contained in CITT Order available on the CITT website.

A Statement of Reasons will be available within 15 days on the CITT’s website.
