Secretariat of Communications and Transportation approves agreement for institutional programs of the Comprehensive Port Administrators 2020-2024

On February 16th, 2021, the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation (SCT), published in the Federal Official Gazette (DOF), the agreement by which the institutional programs of the Comprehensive Port Administrators 2020-2024 are approved.

The following institutional programs of the Integral Port Administrators are announced:

  1. The Institutional Program for Comprehensive Port Administration of Altamira, S.A. de C.V.
  2. The Institutional Program for Integrated Port Administration of Dos Bocas, S.A. de C.V.
  3. The Institutional Program for Comprehensive Port Administration of Ensenada, S.A. de C.V.
  4. The Institutional Program for Comprehensive Port Administration of Guaymas, S.A. de C.V.
  5. The Institutional Program for Comprehensive Port Administration of Lázaro Cárdenas, S.A. de C.V.
  6. The Institutional Program for Comprehensive Port Administration of Manzanillo, S.A. de C.V.
  7. The Institutional Program for Comprehensive Port Administration of Mazatlán, S.A. de C.V.
  8. The Institutional Program for Port Administration Integral de Progreso, S.A. de C.V.
  9. The Institutional Program for Comprehensive Port Administration of Puerto Madero, S.A. de C.V.
  10. The Institutional Program for Comprehensive Port Administration of Puerto Vallarta, S.A. de C.V.
  11. The Institutional Program for Integral Port Administration of Tampico, S.A. de C.V.
  12. The Institutional Program for Comprehensive Port Administration of Topolobampo, S.A. de C.V.
  13. The Institutional Program for Comprehensive Port Administration of Tuxpan, S.A. de C.V.
  14. The Institutional Program for Integral Port Administration of Veracruz, S.A. de C.V.

The integral port administrations referred to in the previous article are companies of majority state participation, sectorized to the Secretariat of Communications and Transportation, and in accordance with their respective authorized institutional programs, they must be subject to the Planning Law, to the National Development Plan 2019 -2024 and the Sectorial Program for Communications and Transport 2020-2024 as long as the Integral Port Administrations are sectorized to this Secretariat of Communications and Transport, as well as follow-up in the terms of the applicable legal provisions, to the implementation of the actions and the fulfillment of the objectives established in the institutional programs, within the scope of their respective competencies.

VALIDITY:

  • This Agreement will enter into force on the day of its publication in the Federal Official Gazette
  • In accordance with the First and Fourth Transitory Decree by which various provisions of the Organic Law of the Federal Public Administration, the Law of Navigation and Maritime Commerce and the Law of Ports are amended, added and repealed, published in the Federal Official Gazette on December 7th, 2020, the Integral Port Administrations, object of this Agreement, will be transferred to the Secretariat of the Navy, so that once their delivery is materialized, it will be up to the latter to make the adjustments it deems necessary to these institutional programs through the legal instruments it deems appropriate.
