Foreign trade users are informed that, in accordance with the Fifth Transitory Agreement that modifies the various by which the Secretariat of Economics issues general rules and criteria regarding Foreign Trade published in the Official Gazette on September 2, 2020, the certificates of conformity issued in accordance with NOM-001-SCFI1993, will remain in force, until the term indicated in them, to give compliance with NOM-001-SCFI-2018, therefore, in order to carry out the importation of merchandise subject to compliance with NOM-001-SCFI2018, the NOM for which the Certificate was granted must be declared in the petition.
Note: Previously, the certification bodies must have transmitted to the Tax Administration Service, through the system Customs-Standards, certificates of compliance with NOM-001-SCFI1993.
