FSIS Announces New Fee Rates Effective February 7, 2016

USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced that effective February 7, 2016 new rates will apply when charging meat and poultry establishments, egg products plants, and importers and exporters for providing FSIS voluntary basetime, overtime, and holiday inspection and identification, certification, and laboratory services.

The new rates, per hour, per employee, are charged by the type of service:

Basetime Service                                  $54.56

Overtime Service                                  $69.20

Holiday Service                                     $83.84

Laboratory Service                                $69.96
