On July 3, 2026, the Canadian International Trade Tribunal (CITT) issued a final injury finding concerning the dumping of certain truck bodies originating in or exported from China. This decision follows the Canada Border Services Agency’s (CBSA) final determination released on June 4, 2026.
As a result of this finding, the provisional period is now over, and the final anti-dumping rates are payable on imports of subject goods released by CBSA on or after July 3, 2026.
Importers using customs brokers are reminded to inform their broker if their goods fall under these measures, and to provide all necessary information to ensure accurate assessment under the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA).
