The U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) issued an extension of the 81 China Section 301 COVID-related exclusions covering medical care products that used Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) number 9903.88.66, through June 1, 2023. They had been due to expire on May 15, 2023.
They also extended through September 30, 2023, 77 of the 81 COVID-related exclusions, using HTS 9903.88.68.
The four COVID exclusions that will expire on June 1, 2023 are for 3 complete HTS:
3923.21.0095 -List 3 (25%)
5603.14.9090 -List 3 (25%)
4818.90.0020 and 4818.90.0080 -List 4A (7.5%)
And protective safety glasses/goggles of HTS 9004.90.0010 and 9004.90.0090 -List 4A (7.5%).
