CBSA initiates normal value review on aluminum extrusions from China

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), on May 27, 2021, initiated a normal value and export price review respecting certain aluminum extrusions exported to Canada from China by Fujian Fenan Aluminium Co., Ltd.

Further product details as well as the applicable tariff classification numbers of the subject goods are contained in Appendix 1 of the Notice of Normal Value Review.

If the exporter (by Fujian Fenan Aluminium Co.) decides to participate in the normal value review, they are required to provide a complete and accurate response to the CBSA’s Request for Information (RFI) by July 5, 2021.

Should the exporter not provide a complete response to the RFI by the deadline date, the normal values, export prices and amount of subsidy applicable to the subject goods will be determined pursuant to a ministerial specification under SIMA.
