CBSA initiates normal value and export price reviews on carbon steel fasteners

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) on January 25, 2021, initiated the following normal value and export price reviews respecting certain carbon steel fasteners originating in or exported from China and Taiwan:

Further product details as well as the applicable tariff classification numbers of the subject goods are contained in Appendix 1 of each of the Notices of Normal Value Review.

If the exporters decide to participate in the normal value review, they are required to provide a complete and accurate response to the CBSA’s Request for Information (RFI) by March 3, 2021.

Should the exporters not provide a complete response to the RFI by the deadline date, any previous normal values issued to the exporters will be immediately revoked.
