The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) has advised the trade community that it is delaying the decommission date of the ACROSS OGD service options 463 and 471 until further notice.
The delay of the decommission of the legacy Other Government Department (OGD) Release Service Options OGD Pre-Arrival System (PARS) (SO463) and OGD Release on Minimum Documentation (RMD) (SO471) is due to the COVID-19 pandemic. At this time, a new decommission date has not yet been established.
Brokers and importers are encouraged to continue using the Single Window Initiative (SWI) Integrated Import Declaration (IID) or the legacy service options (OGD-PARS, OGD-RMD) to obtain the release of goods regulated by Participating Government Agencies.
