CBSA concludes normal value review on oil country tubular goods and seamless casing from China

Normal value reviews are conducted by the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) to update normal values, export prices or amounts of subsidy of single exporters as necessary, to ensure that these values accurately reflect current market conditions.

The CBSA, on April 11, 2023, concluded a normal value review of the Chinese exporter Dalipal Pipe Company (Dalipal), an exporter of goods subject to both the Oil Country Tubular Goods and Seamless Casing SIMA cases currently in force.

As a result of the review, normal values have been determined for the items subject to this review. Imports of these products will not be subject to anti-dumping duties that are sold to Canada at or above the normal value issued by CBSA.

Importers are remined that if using the services of a customs broker to clear their importations, the brokerage firm should be advised if the goods are subject or not to anti-dumping and countervailing duties and be provided with sufficient information necessary to clear the shipments.

Complete details regarding the review conclusion are available here.
