CBSA concludes administrative review of upholstered domestic seating SIMA case

On May 22, 2026, the concerning the normal values, export prices and amounts of subsidy applicable to upholstered domestic seating (UDS) originating in the People’s Republic of China (China) and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (Vietnam) and exported from the United States of America (United States) by Ashley Furniture Industries LLC (Ashley Furniture).

Following the review, normal values have been established for this exporter. Imports of the reviewed products will not incur anti-dumping duties if sold to Canada at or above the normal values set by the CBSA.

Importers are reminded to inform their customs broker if their goods are subject to anti-dumping or countervailing duties. It is essential to provide the brokerage firm with all necessary information to accurately assess SIMA obligations, if applicable.
