The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) announced that it will hold the 32nd Annual Conference on Export Controls in Washington, D.C. at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, July 9-11, 2019.
The theme of the conference is “Emerging Technologies, Strategic Trade, and Global Threats”. The planned agenda will include sessions on:
- 5G
- Artificial Intelligence (AI)
- Emerging Technology
- The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) / Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization of 2018 (FIRRMA)
- Export Control Reform Act of 2018 (ECRA)
