BIS 2019 Annual Conference on Export Controls

The Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS) announced that it will hold the 32nd Annual Conference on Export Controls in Washington, D.C. at the Marriott Marquis Hotel, July 9-11, 2019.

The theme of the conference is “Emerging Technologies, Strategic Trade, and Global Threats”.  The planned agenda will include sessions on:

  • 5G
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • Emerging Technology
  • The Committee on Foreign Investment in the United States (CFIUS) / Foreign Investment Risk Review Modernization of 2018 (FIRRMA)
  • Export Control Reform Act of 2018 (ECRA)
