As Senior Vice President of Customs Solutions, Shawn is responsible for upholding and evolving the company’s brokerage operations – from speed of delivery and quality of service to operational enhancements and product optimization. He leads a broad team of specialists with a focus on collaboration and innovation through empowerment.
Shawn joined Livingston in 1999 as a customs specialist and achieved increasingly senior roles. Prior to serving as Senior Vice President, Customs Solutions, Shawn held the role of Vice President, Canadian Brokerage where he focused on implementing initiatives to increase efficiency and profitability, process improvements to enhance customer experience, digital transformation, and building client relationships.
His areas of expertise include international customs regulations, global logistics, organizational strategy, process engineering and team building.
Shawn holds a professional designation from the Canada Border Services Agency and is a Licensed Customs Broker, Certified Trade Compliance Specialist (CTCS), Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), and Professional Logistician (pLog). He holds a Customs Administration Degree from Fleming College and is a graduate from the Executive Education Program at Queen’s University.
