On March 31st, 2026 the Government of Canada finalized the most recent version of the Guide to Canada’s Export Control List. The new version will enter into force on May 1st, 2026.
Registered users of the New Export Controls On-Line (New EXCOL) would have received a message with a link to the new guide on March 31st, 2026. On April 30th, 2026, users will receive a follow up message advising of the enter into force date, and it will provide New EXCOL users with 30 days to become familiar with the updated guide.
