About this Webinar

The U.S. drawback program allows importers to claim a refund for the payment of duties, taxes and fees on certain goods. While this presents a great opportunity, a good deal of companies simply don’t know that they’re able to reclaim duty on imported merchandise that’s exported in the same condition or is processed or assembled into a finished article that’s then exported. Of those aware of the program, many don’t know how to go about claiming drawback. As a result, only a small percentage of duty paid to the U.S. government is drawn back.

Attend this webinar to gain an understanding of the U.S. duty drawback program, and to learn how to recognize drawback opportunities within your organization.

Other topics covered in this webinar include:

  • Records needed to support drawback claims
  • Inventory methods
  • Record retention requirements
  • How to manage drawback under the new laws (TFTEA & ACE) which came into effect February 24, 2018

Who Should Attend?

Individuals and companies that import merchandise into the United States and then export it in the same condition or process or assemble it into a finished article that is then exported.
