About this Webinar

This webinar will be hosted in English.

IMMEX (Industrial Manufacturera Maquiladora y de Servicios de Exportacion) is a Mexican program that allows foreign manufacturers to import components and raw materials into the country tax and duty free. Program regulations mandate that the finished goods must be exported out of Mexico within a given timeframe.

While IMMEX offers many great benefits, including cost savings from the duty and tax-free incentives and low wages, there are some risks associated with non-compliance. Consequences for non-compliance include fines and penalties, program cancellation, smuggling prosecution and imprisonment.

Attend this webinar to learn more about:

  • Program overview
  • Requirements for certification
  • Annex 24 and 30
  • Consequences for non-compliance
  • Recommendations and preventive actions for managing the program
  • Corrective actions in the event of non-compliance

Who Should Attend?

Businesses interested in investing in Mexico, manufacturers looking to reduce operational costs, importers/exporters interested in learning more about Mexico’s IMMEX program.
