Michael joined Livingston in February 2018, bringing with him 30 years of expertise in global trade management, including internal controls, auditing and risk management. Since joining Livingston, Michael has channeled his efforts toward helping large multinationals mitigate compliance risk, reduce supply chain friction and leverage lawful duty avoidance programs to reduce the cost of importing. He has been pivotal in supporting these businesses in strategic supply chain decision making during a period of global trade volatility.
Michael came to Livingston from Sandler & Travis where he spent four years as a Vice President, and was instrumental in driving new business and finding critical cost efficiencies through the establishment of streamlined processes. Prior to his work at Sandler & Travis, Michael spent nine years at Delphi as a Regional Customs Manager where he helped to take the company through the turmoil of the global financial crisis and developed quantitative models to identify key risks in trade.
Michael is a Certified Public Account (CPA) and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Texas and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
