Wood Packaging Material (WPM) – CBP Updates FAQ and Violation Penalty Guidelines

In September, U.S. Customs & Border Protection (CBP) issued CSMS 17-000609, advising effective November 1st they would penalize any documented violation of the wood packaging material (WPM) requirements. The CBP approach was described in a Livingston Trade News – US Regulatory Update:
