Sault Ste. Marie International Bridge will have Height and Width restrictions through October

Share

Due to an upcoming painting project on the Sault Ste. Marie (Michigan/Ontario) International Bridge, height and width restrictions will be imposed.

From May 15th to October 31st, the maximum height allowed for vehicles crossing the bridge will be restricted to 13 feet, 6 inches.

The maximum width allowed for vehicles will also be restricted to 13 feet, 6 inches.

One lane of traffic will be closed on the arch due to scaffolding and paint containment set-up, resulting in the width and height restrictions on the active lane. Restrictions on both U.S. and Canadian-bound traffic will be in place at all times during the work period.
