Late September Construction at Sumas Port of Entry Expects to Cause Delays

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Office of Field Operations is advising travelers that the Sumas (Washington State) Port of Entry will undergo construction in the passenger, bus and cargo lanes September 20th through October 1st.

Beginning Wednesday, September 20th, Sumas bus and passenger lanes may experience delays due to construction. All work in the bus and passenger lanes is anticipated to be completed on Thursday, September 28th.

From Friday, September 22nd through Sunday, October 1st, travelers may experience delays due to construction in the cargo lanes. All work in the cargo lanes is anticipated to be completed by October 1st.
