David has extensive experience in the development, preparation, and communication of compliance policies, and in reviewing and re-engineering supply chains and compliance processes. An EU expert, David has thorough knowledge and understanding of U.S. extra territorial controls and regulations affecting international trade.
David’s main focus is on developing, preparing, and communicating compliance policies, as well as reviewing and re-engineering supply chains and compliance process and procedures.
With over 45 years of international trade compliance experience David has a broad understanding of the global trade environment and detailed knowledge of U.S. extra-territorial controls and of EU import and export control regimes, laws, regulations, and prohibitions affecting international trade. He has developed expertise in the applicability of customs and export controls for both multi-national and national organizations on both a global and local basis.
In his previous role as Director of Implementation with a major global logistics provider, David managed the day-to-day, worldwide coordination of multinational business logistics and compliance requirements. In this capacity, he developed and implemented corporate trade policies and strategies managing a network of Managers and Suppliers within the EMEA region.
