When exporting goods to the U.S., knowledge of the required documentation and release methods will help you troubleshoot problems and avoid costly border delays.

Your release documentation must include some critical information, such as the following:

  • The name, address and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) number of the company where the shipment is being delivered
  • Applicable information required by Participating Government Agencies (PGAs)
  • Name and address of the exporter
