Livingston demonstrates its commitment to hire more veterans with job fair sponsorship

BUFFALO- Livingston International, a leading customs broker and trade compliance company, is sponsoring the “Hiring Our Heroes” job fair for veterans and military spouses in Buffalo. A proud official sponsor of the Hiring Our Heroes job fairs, Livingston is committed to providing career opportunities for military veterans in its U.S. offices.
The job fair, hosted by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, will take place on Thursday, June 18 at the Connecticut Street Armory in Buffalo, N.Y.
Recognizing that their military service provides veterans with valuable skills such as adaptability, mission-focus and a strong work ethic, Livingston’s involvement in the “Hiring Our Heroes” job fair is one of several activities that demonstrates its commitment to supporting veterans and their families as they transition out of military service and into civilian life in areas where Livingston is experiencing growth.
In addition to sponsoring several Hiring Our Heroes job fairs, Livingston plans to facilitate a veterans hiring and retention workshop.

Livingston is one of more than 70 employers expected to participate with jobs available for veterans and military spouses of all ranks and levels of expertise. The event includes a free Hiring Our Heroes employment workshop focusing on resume writing, interview skills, and job search techniques for veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses.
