FWS seeks importers and exporters of regulated products for participation in test pilot

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) has been mandated to interface with U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP’s) Automated Commercial Environment (ACE) using the International Trade Data System (ITDS) by November 1, 2015.

To meet this goal, FWS is seeking volunteer importers and exporters of Fish and Wildlife regulated products for participation in a test pilot, slated to begin on July 4, 2015. This will ensure all stakeholders are involved. Also participating will be customs brokers and software developers.

Please e-mail requests to volunteer to lawenforcement@fws.gov, using a subject line of ‘ITDS Pilot Participation.’ The request must contain your e-mail and telephone details.
