Steel Import Monitoring Program Extended to 2020

Global Affairs Canada (GAC) advises of the extension of the steel monitoring program. The proposed Order Amending the Import Control List includes carbon and speciality steel products on the Import Control List for a further three years beginning on October 31, 2017 to October 31, 2020.

Amendments have been made to continue General Import Permit (GIP) No. 80 Carbon steel and General Import Permit (GIP) No. 81 Specialty steel on the Import Control List (ICL). View the Notice to Importers item 80 and item 81.
