The Dept. of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development issued a Notice to Importers advising them that they are accepting applicants for a share of the 2016 broiler hatching eggs and chicks tariff rate quota (TRQ) for the period of January 1st to December 31st, 2016. Applicants who wish to apply for an allocation are required to submit their application form by December 15, 2015. The application form is available as an appendix in the Notice to Importers.
There are no policy changes regarding the administration of the Broiler Hatching Eggs and Chicks TRQ for the 2016 allocation year.
